Frequently Asked Questions
How long until my finished assets are ready?
Your complete, edited image gallery will be delivered within 5–7 business days.
Is this really a "formula," or just good photography?
It's both. Great photography is the tool, but the formula is the blueprint.
A great chef can cook anything, but they follow a specific recipe to get a consistent, perfect result. We do the same for your profile.
How do you deal with crowds and tourists?
We time things strategically (early morning or just before sunset) and choose angles that give you clean frames.
If a spot is slammed, we pivot to a nearby “look-alike” block and circle back, no standing around waiting.
This is a big investment. What if it doesn't "work" for me?
We get it, and the best way we can answer that is by asking you to look at our reviews. You’ll see dozens of success stories from real men who started in the exact same place you are now.
Our definition of "working" is giving you the absolute best possible tool to succeed. We can't force a connection, but we can build you a profile that is strategically designed to attract the right people and give you the highest possible probability of success. Just like it did for them.
Will we need a permit to shoot?
Usually not for light, run-and-gun sessions. If a location requires a permit for our setup (certain parks/rooftops or when using larger gear), we’ll flag it upfront, handle the paperwork, and build it into your plan.
Where do the photoshoots take place in NYC?
Yes. We’ll suggest spots that fit your vibe—West Village brownstones, Central Park fields, DUMBO cobblestones, the High Line at golden hour, or a sleek Midtown rooftop. We balance iconic NYC backdrops with quieter corners so you’re not fighting crowds.
Yes, absolutely! We love incorporating pets into shoots as they are a fantastic way to showcase your personality.
The most important step is to bring it up during our planning call. This allows us to discuss the specifics of your pet (whether it's a dog, cat, or something more unique) and ensure we choose a location that is both safe for them and suitable for the shoot.
I have a specific hobby (e.g., visiting galleries in Chelsea, running, playing music). Can we incorporate that?
Yes, we strongly encourage it. Incorporating your genuine hobbies is the best way to create authentic, compelling photos that attract people with similar interests. We will absolutely build the shoot around your passions.
Do you help with grooming and styling?
Yes. You’ll get a simple, NYC-ready checklist for hair, beard trim, nails, and skin prep (included). We can also connect you with vetted barbers, on-site grooming/light makeup, and same-day steaming or tailoring.
Please Note: third-party services and on-site support are optional add-ons and billed separately (at provider rates, not extra cost). We’ll share clear quotes and get your approval before booking, no surprises. You’re always welcome to use your own pros; we’ll still guide styling to fit the shoot.
What neighborhoods work best for different looks?
Polished/professional: Midtown East, Flatiron, FiDi.
Creative/casual: SoHo, Nolita, Williamsburg.
Outdoorsy/romantic: Central Park, Prospect Park, Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
Urban/edgy: Lower East Side, Bushwick murals, Long Island City waterfront.
What happens if there's bad weather on our scheduled shoot day?
We monitor the forecast closely leading up to your shoot. If it calls for heavy rain or other prohibitive conditions, we will connect with you to reschedule for the next available date that works for both of us. There is no fee for weather-related rescheduling.
